it’s the path of unbecoming

and becoming

who I set out to be

where a yellow brick road leads

for the hopes of an individuated me

where I finally feel free

where I somatically believe

that i can accept myself

for who I was brought down

to be

yes, it’s the path of becoming

and unbecoming

all of what I once used to be

that person

who let you in

so intrusively

it remains true-

what was instilled by you

was embraced by me

and that all of our behaviors cycled

again and again..
