Rosie-Lee

rosie-lee recieved

her flowers greatly

on a Sunday late afternoon

when she she was in her room

doing her hair

she got a call from a certain mr. Fred Astaire (she pauses and thinks about it but continues to pick up the phone..)

when she picked up, he shared:
(the telephone rings and she picks up)

“Rosie Lee..you see (hearing through the phone)

I’ve always loved you..

so please come back to me

With Velma, it’s just not the same-

She doesn’t understand me

or my name..

i mean no one else does… except you.,,”

a few minutes later

she closes her door

one could of thought she’d end up on the floor

but, this time something different happened

you see

Rosie-lee

stands on her bed

and chooses to stare

directly into my lens

she said;

‍ ‍(mumbles of his voice continue through the phone)

(standing on the bed she looks directly at the camera this time. no- not away.. not in any other’s gaze.. she’s directly facing and standing tall. )

“all of the fairies are free”.

only,

“all my fairies have freed”
